Spring snows

The whiplash spring of the Colorado Front Range is in full force. A couple days ago it was nearly 70F, with violets and crocuses peeping through the grass, but just a day or two before that, Boulder looked like this:

Flatirons with snowThe thing about our spring snows is that they disappear so fast. In a couple of days even the foot that fell last night will be gone. Just in time for the next dump, which I hear is coming over the weekend.
